Don Johnson
President
Don Johnson was born in Broken Bow, Nebraska and grew up on a farm near the small town of Merna. Don worked on the family farm until 1985. After spending a year in Phoenix, Don returned to Lincoln and went to work for Home Real Estate in 1986. In 1993, he founded Don Johnson Homes and has spent the last decade building quality homes in and around the Lincoln area. During the first year, Don Johnson Homes constructed five homes, and the quality of his work grew the business quickly. Today, Don Johnson Homes has built hundreds of homes throughout southeast Nebraska. Each of Don’s custom floorplans are individually designed to meet your lifestyle. Don likes to golf, boat and spend time with his family. He looks forward to working with you to design and build the home of your dreams!

Melissa McMahon
Office Manager
She was born and raised in Lincoln. She graduated from Lincoln East High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She's been working with Don Johnson Homes since 2002. Before that she worked for another local home builder and got her real estate license in 1994. She's also worked for Nebraska Title Company processing real estate closing; so we feel she can really help our clients start to finish on the building of their new home. She enjoys snow skiing, golfing, swimming, yoga and spending time with friends and family especially her nieces and nephew. She was just married in Sept. 2007 to Jason McMahon who is from Central City, NE. He works for Monsanto in Waco, NE.
